ADHD Coach Funding
Coaching is an investment, and for many professionals, the cost is a real consideration. The good news is that funding options exist in that many people don't know about. Here's three ways you can work with me with financial support, whether you're based in NZ or elsewhere.
ADHD Coach Funding as a job seeker or professional...
1. MSD - Ministry of Social Development
Annie Romanos Coaching is a registered provider with the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). This means that if you are currently receiving Jobseeker Support or another MSD benefit, you may be eligible for funded coaching support.
ADHD is recognised as a health condition under MSD's support framework, and job coaching - including ADHD-specific coaching focused on employment readiness, workplace performance, and sustainable work - can qualify for funding.
To find out if you're eligible:
Talk to your MSD case manager and ask about support for job coaching with a registered provider
Mention that Annie Romanos Coaching is MSD-registered
Get in touch with Annie directly to discuss how the process works
2. Workplace Professional Development Funding
Many organisations allocate professional development budgets for their managers and leaders, and ADHD coaching qualifies.
As an ICF-credentialed executive coach specialising in neurodiversity, I work with managers and leaders to build the self-awareness, strategies, and systems they need to lead effectively and sustainably with ADHD and other cognitive styles.
If you'd like to explore this option with your employer, I provide a coaching proposal outlining the focus and scope of the engagement, making it straightforward for you to present to your manager or HR team.
The next step is to book an introductory session where we can meet, discuss your role, your strengths, challenges and goals, and a pathway for professional development.
ADHD Coach Funding as a business owner/self employed operator
3. Management Capability Development Fund
As a NZ business owner or self employed operator, you may qualify for subsidised coaching through the Regional Business Partners Network's Management Capability Development Fund.
This fund supports business owners to access coaching and training, and ADHD-specific executive coaching qualifies. Find out more here.
Private Health Insurance
Some New Zealand health insurance policies cover coaching as part of mental health or wellbeing support. It's worth checking with your provider directly.
Not Sure Where You Stand?
Get in touch and we can talk through what options might apply to your situation. Funding eligibility depends on your individual circumstances, but it's always worth exploring before you assume coaching is out of reach.
